  • We used these for our twins and absolutely loved them! We live in the south so it can be really hot in the summer - these let me rest comfortably knowing the babies wouldn't get too hot. LOVED them Apr 14, 2021

  • Q: Trying to decide between the regular size and mini. Any thoughts? Has anyone taken theirs traveling and checked on an airline? For our two month old so the mini would last 1.5 years at least.

  • If you want to use it for 1.5 yrs, I'd go with the regular size. We were also debating between mini and regular and I'm so glad we went bigger. We started putting my daughter in there at 6 mos to play and the mini would be way too small for her to have space to play with a few toys. Plus if you get the mini and want to use it as a bed when traveling, your baby might feel a bit cramped when older.

  • We have loved the Nuna Sena, it is easy to travel with and overall seems like a much better investment than the Mini which is quite small. When our two little ones were less than a year we used the Guava Family Travel Bed which is much smaller and lighter than either Nuna - but like the Mini they grow out of it quickly. I am doubtful that the Mini would last a year and a half. Our very small 2.5 yr old grew out of the full sized Nuna Sena several months ago and now our 10 month old (also petite) fits it perfectly. The Nuna Sena is the best pack N play in terms of ease of use and set up that I have ever seen. Could recommend it more highly - well wish that it had some sort of backpack strap for ease of schlepping through airports which we have done our share of. Also got their waterproof but super soft on top crib sheet to prevent any diaper spill over since all pack n play mattresses aren't the easiest to clean.

  • Hey Sarah! I own the Nuna (regular) and it's been great as an extra crib at home or a travel crib to toss in the car. However, I have to disagree with some of the others about traveling by plane with the Nuna. It's huge, very heavy and comes in a flimsy duffle that would not properly protect the crib. I ended up purchasing the Baby Bjorn for airplane travel and it's been great.

  • Q: Baby is 6 months, but I heard that this is useful when they start crawling and you want to get something done without watching them. Is this a good item to get now? Was planning on getting the mini.

  • I think it would work for a baby of any age. We have used it for our newborn to sleep in on the bas sinet setting. I would definitely look at the mini versus regular in person because there is a size difference. I think mini would work, but baby will definitely have more room to play and you will get longer use out of it if you get the bigger size.
