I purchased regular towel type of burp cloths as well as these particular ones. Bar none, these are our favorite. It’s perfectly designed to go on your shoulder and stays on really well while other types fall off. It’s very soft and the material is of good quality and does not retain any stains after wash. These are very soft and thick. They aren't absorbent like cloth diapers, the liquid rolls off of these. But I would put one over my should and add a cloth diaper on top as an extra layer of protection Sep 07, 2019
