I got this at the hospital. It is gentle for a newborn. Once hair gets more coarse, you will want to upgrade to a comb/brush set. The sponge and bristles are both flexible and soft. Jan 24, 2020

We got one of these at the hospital after delivery. It was my favorite brush that worked so well. It lasted about 3 years until kiddo broke it when he had to “do it himself” Apr 14, 2019
