The Medela Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pump with On the Go Tote is a daily use breastpump designed for moms who pump several times a day. All Pump In Style breastpumps offer portable convenience for quiet, discreet pumping anywhere. Replaces old model - Medela Pump in Style Advanced Breast Pump with Shoulder Bag.
This is far-and-away the favorite among weeSpring moms. It's a workhorse: reliable, easy-to-use, and effective. Or as one mom put it, "This is the Volvo station wagon of breast pumps; it may be a bit big and heavy, but it always works when you need it." It comes built into its own bag, with space for all the requisite pump parts and a little cooler to keep milk fresh. Be sure to call your insurance company--it might be free!
The Catch: It is large, which can make commuting and/or traveling with it cumbersome.
We exclusively breastfed my first and pumped when I returned to work. The machine worked great itself! Having the extra parts available easily at local stores was a huge plus! Pretty easy to clean.

I've pumped at work, plane, airport, hotels, on the beach you name it. This collects all my milk very efficiently (usally 12oz in 20 min, pumping 4x a day) and still going strong at 12 months mark!

This is a good pump, I used it with my first and have another one I use more frequently with our second. It seems to get all of the milk out and is handy for going back to work. Love the cooler.

It gets the job done & has been my backup, but never gets used. I got this thru insurance & after the rubber band snapping, I bought the Spectra. The Spectra was much more comfortable & I got milk!

This is a great pump. Strong and painless. Used during work for a year after each of my babies. Just need to periodically change tubing. Cooler came with and was perfect for keeping milk during shift.

Doing great so far! Had to get smaller nipple shields/flanges than what came with it, and i bought extra bottles as well. Easy to find compatible parts for. Wish it came with the car plug in too.

I have both the backpack version and tote. I have only used the backpark version. I think its great if you have it as a backpack if youre carrying around a baby bag already when youre on the go !

I absolutely love my medela pump. They offer several flange size options. I actually have to use two different sizes. It has great suction and double pumping. Everything travels great all in one bag.

I have used with both my kids, and I nursed for nearly 2 years with my first. Best pump that is not hospital grade. Save money and skip the bag and treat yourself to a Sarah Wells pump bag instead.

I bought this product 4 hours ago And I LOVE IT. I own a lot of breast pumps and this is my favorite. It's suction, tote, and gentleness is what makes it the best. I exclusively breast pump.

I exclusively pumped for 10 months with my first with this pump and I'm doing so again with my second kiddo. Pump parts are easy to clean and, if I need replacement parts, I can find them at Target.

Go to breast pump. Has enough power to keep supply up yet comfortable. Can use a battery pack to make portable (though you loose a bit of power). Parts are easily found and decent price. Holds up!

It is frustrating using the battery pack and comber some with lots of cords. I wish it came with the bra to be able to use hands free. I found the spectra portable pump to be more effective.

I have two of these, one for upstairs and one for down. I exclusively pump and have not had any complaints. It lasted through 7 months of pumping with my first and I am on month 4 with #2.

I work at a hospital and used the hospital grade pump but the PISA expressed more milk, even though it is louder. Easy to use and I liked the cooler bag. My milk stayed cold for over 10 hours.

It is but if you're going to be exclusively pumping, I'd look into the smaller one that is more portable. I forget the style but I remembered thinking it might have been nice to not be limited to a wall outlet. Not sure if you compromise power. This one will do the trick though!
I had to pump for the first four months (my son was a premie and had to be on a combo of breastmilk and formula until he was 4 months old) and then I pumped at work until he was a year. I used this pump at work but didn't like it nearly as much as the hospital grade one that I rented. It's powerful enough but the hospital grade ones are even stronger. I also had some supply issues though.
