Great to create designated play spaces. Also helps when you only have wood floors and crawlers/scooters (Feb 07, 2013)

These were an awesome play mat since we have hard wood floors. I just hated that she started to rip each letter and number out plus the little dots filling some letters in. Too many pieces. Oct 13, 2021

Not a fan! It’s not as easy to put it in the wash and the mat comes apart sometimes which is not my favorite! There are better ones in the market! Jan 06, 2021

Easy to assemble, clean and gives a soft safe surface. Grows with the grands too - they still love it . Dec 05, 2020

Purchased this for when my son was having problems sitting up on his own. Probably only really used it for a week or two then he just tore it apart. Aug 18, 2020

We bought these when our daughter started crawling. They help protect her knees and her from falling over. Easy to put together and take apart. Our older son loves to build with them. Nov 24, 2019

At first I loved this, then all my son wanted to do was take it apart and it just became an epic and total mess that I was constantly putting back together. Overall it wasn't worth it for us. Jun 16, 2019

these are great! we have wooden floors in our home and this allows for baby to have his own cushioned area to enjoy tummy time. the colors are bright which he loves and they are easy to wipe clean Apr 11, 2019

The positive is that you can easily clean up and store. The negative is that our little one loved to take it apart more than the toys on it. Also, it was very slippery across our floor. Sep 17, 2018

The mat works however, my kids try and pick it up and suck on the pieces. Might be better to just get plain mats for cushion purpose. Feb 23, 2016

These are nice and soft and my son loves to roll around on them and I know he won't get hurt if he falls. Jul 29, 2014
One of the best purchases! So versatile (mat, but can also make cubes and towers- which is fun for my 2 yr old). Plus, he's learning his letters as he helps me put the mat back together!! Jul 29, 2014
Ended up buying solid ones because my son picks these up, chews on them, and throws them around. End up being kind of a mess all over the living room. Jul 29, 2014

My son loves taking out the letters now that he is older. Jul 28, 2014
This is great for tummy time for hardwood floors. Once they start crawling, they will try to pull it apart and eat it, but in the beginning its very nice so baby wont bump their head when they tumble Jul 24, 2014
Not a big hit but is nice to play on with other toys - soft material Jul 24, 2014

These have been invaluable. We covered the play area floor in these tiles, and it makes it easy for us to kneel or sit while our child plays, and it cushions any falls for our child. Jul 23, 2014
Perfect for crawlers and early walkers who need to get a grip (vs. slick wood floors). It's nice to have a little cushion for tumbles as well. Jul 21, 2014
It's a good mat, we use it on the hardwood floor. Jun 17, 2014
my lo loves taking these apart Jun 17, 2014
Great for protecting hardwood from toys getting dropped and thrown. Also doubles as a teething toy. Jun 17, 2014
Fun way to transform your playroom! Jun 08, 2014
This is really nice for keeping baby off the floor and to designate a play place. We used ours prior to 6 months since after that there were no boundaries! Apr 14, 2014

Thin, too many pieces. Doesn't stay flat on carpeting. My 8 month old loves to pull it apart and chew on the pieces. When she drools or spits up on it, it gets in the cracks and leaks underneath. Mar 06, 2014

We had one from SkipHop and it was awesome for the crawling phase. Soft, safe material, esp since we do not have a lot of carpeting. Easy on parent's knees! Jan 24, 2014
I like having something soft on the baby's floor, but the effing letters stick to my feet and don't lie flat and I'm pretty OCD so this drives me nuts. Jan 22, 2014
The mat is okay. It was nice to have something for baby to play on that was a little cushy, but it attracted dirt, dust and hair, and the pieces would come apart and go all over the place. Jan 19, 2014
Great for crawlers and fallinf Jan 10, 2014
Great for providing soft floor surface for little one but then they start taking apart all of the pieces and it is no longer useful as flooring and just makes a big mess. Dec 04, 2013

Great for that "toppling over every 5 minutes" stage. Also for that "my parents have 35-year-old knees stage." Which, by the way, never ends. Oct 27, 2013

As she got bigger she started pulling the letters apart, we are now using it under a Babycare mat in a Dwinguler castle and it gives extra protection when she falls. It's still useful. May 14, 2018

A lot of the foam floor mats have multiple configurations, but they have LOTS of pieces. Indentations (like teeth marks) will never go away and these are difficult to wash. Try a quilt instead. Jan 23, 2014
Great fun. Kids will pull apart and eat and everything but if you don't mind cleaning up they are great Jun 14, 2013
although my cats tore these to shreds (and jacob would bite them) they were great to keep him safe from hardwood floors May 13, 2013
