This car seat is quite heavy (much more so than the maxi cosi mico) so it was very difficult for me to lift after having a c section (I am also petite) but I love the protection it offers. (Oct 05, 2016)

Definitely a good lookin’ car seat, but parents are polarized on it. It’s really heavy and some have difficulty getting baby in and out, but it does have Maxi-Cosi’s no-rethread harness, so you can adjust the strap height without pulling straps out to rethread.

The car seat is very safe for baby. It has a lot of padding, head support and is really sturdy. BUT it is a nightmare to put baby in it. Also baby gets really hot and sweats in it. Jan 13, 2014
Looks good but my 4 month outgrew it already (17 lbs, 27" long). LO doesn't like all the padding because it's hot in there and very constrictive. Good for safety but baby's always crying in it. Dec 16, 2013
I'm disappointed in this car seat. My little one currently weighs 16lbs and has chunky legs. My husband and I struggle to fasten her in this seat even with the straps pulled all the way out. It's bananas! Nov 04, 2013

This is a better bet than the Mico for very small and very big babies, but it lacks the safety features available in similarly priced seats, like a built-in seat belt locking device on the base, a load leg, or a European belt path for secure installation in taxis and rental cars. The head wings and shoulder strap pads are also confining and can make baby sweaty and irritated. Apr 09, 2014
