Why weeLove the UPPABaby Vista:

weeSpring parents gush (and gush) about the UPPAbaby VISTA. One mom called it the "Land Rover of strollers." Another said she'd "buy it over and over again." The 2015 model takes the already awesome features to a new level.

From the cozy bassinet to the toddler seat and ride-along skateboard, the variety of configurations will grow with your family. (You can actually tote around three kids at once!) The incredibly sturdy wheels tackle any terrain, so even the bumpiest sidewalk won't get in the way of a good catnap. On sunny days, the enormous, extendable sunshade keeps your kiddo covered and protected. Better yet, the vent at the top of the canopy makes it simple for you to peek in as you walk. The extra large basket holds up to thirty pounds, fitting your massive diaper bag and then some. Sidenote: we've used it countless times as an impromptu grocery cart.

The VISTA comes with a bassinet (which is great for snoozes at home, too) and a toddler seat. Your tot can ride forwards, backwards, upright, and reclined. As your crew gets bigger, add on the redesigned RumbleSeat, which also is rear-facing, forward-facing and reclines. Their MESA Infant Car Seat attaches directly to the frame, or you can use an adapter to attach another brand.

This heavy-duty stroller is easy to use, and really easy to love.

The catch: It's pretty heavy and can be awkward to lug up and down stairs.

Love. Marriage. Baby Carriage. Life moves fast. However, first-time expectant parents are about to experience new shifts in speed. Grocery runs become a crawl. Dirty diapers are reason to sprint. While second (and third) time parents have more realistic expectations, the VISTA keeps them all moving forward, no matter what life throws their way. The VISTA's intuitive design allows for multiple configurations, making transporting a second and third child a breeze. Life moves pretty fast. We say you've just got to roll with it.

  • Q: Does anyone use this stroller for two young children? I'm pregnant with my 2nd baby and want to use the rumble seat but am a bit worried it might be uncomfortable/unsafe for my son, who'll be 11 mo when his sibling is born.

asked by Secretly Expecting - Dec 22, 2014

  • The 2015 model has a bunch of different configurations, so the rumble seat is a lot more spacious (and has a better view). I switched to the Uppababy from the Bugaboo when I had baby #2 specifically for that reason.

  • Q: When can I put my infant in the toddler seat?

asked by Secretly Expecting - May 12, 2014

  • You can put a baby in the toddler seat when they have head control (usually around 3 months) but they sell an infant insert that allows you to put the baby in there from the beginning. It's called the Snug Seat. The stroller needs to be fully reclined when you use it until the baby has head control. We loved the Snug Seat.

  • Q: Hi, everyone now says this is THE stroller to get (a couple of years ago it was the Bugaboo Chameleon). Why exactly is it so good? Do I still need a cheaper travel stroller?

    asked by Melissa L. - Mar 25, 2014

  • This stroller really is great. It's hefty/strudy and does great on uneven surfaces, etc. It has a very large basket underneath for storage. It collapses pretty easily. Accesories are decent. It can convert to double later if necessary. And price is great. Compared to anything else out there for the price, I don't think it can be beat. I bought mine on sale for under $500.

  • I love mine! It is heavy so if you have a walk-up and need to carry it; might not be the best option but it drives so well. I still love it (two years later) and used the bassinet as J's bed for a while and plan to use it for #2's bed. Plus, you can carry the bassinet around the house. I got mine (2+yrs ago) via Zulily for ~$400.

  • It's an awesome stroller, especially for city living b/c the wheels are so sturdy. Big basket too for keeping diaper bag, groceries, etc. It's HEAVY though, so not ideal if you have to lug it up and down lots of stairs.

    Jessica S. - Mar 25, 2014

  • I love this stroller for the inward/outward facing configurations, and being able to make it a double later. The canopy can't be beat. And the storage- oh the storage! It's the only one that can really hold my diaper bag, I think because the seat is so high up. My only complaint was that they don't have Britax adapters, but I knew that going in. The customer service is pretty great too.

  • But you will probably still want an umbrella stroller for flights

    Julie R. - Mar 25, 2014

  • I love mine -- still using it for my 2.5-year-old. It's definitely heavy, though, so we also got a lightweight umbrella stroller for travel (UppaBaby G-Luxe).
